| Choreographer Todd Eckert is seeking male and female dancers to participate in his next performance season, working in the studio to create two new pieces for the 5th anniversary of Shared Space in March 2012 at Dance Mission Theater. Rehearsals are Fridays and Saturdays from 12- 4pm, and dancers are offered a modest monthly stipend for rehearsals and weekly fee for performances. Learn more... | |
Begining/Intermediate Technique Class: New time! Ongoing: Mondays and
Wednesdays 5:45 - 7:15pm Starting in September, Todd Eckert's regular drop-in class for adults will start 15 minutes later at 5:45pm. Hopefully that will make it easier for everyone to get to the studio after work! This class offers an uplifting and exuberant environment where students can take their training to the next level. Todd encourages students to develop their individual style, and uses imagery to make the technique accessible. The building blocks for more complicated combinations are always thoroughly explored during the warm up so that students can apply useful technical concepts to their dancing. Personal attention and specific feedback from the instructor help students avoid injury and improve at their own pace. |
