Nol Simonse is an artist, dancer and teacher based in San Francisco. He has been a hard-working member of the dance community for over a decade, working with Stephen Pelton Dance Theatre for the past eight years, Janice Garrett and Dancers for the past six years, and as a founding member of Kunst-Stoff. He recently performed in the Tosca Project at American Conservatory Theater (ACT) under the direction of Carey Perloff and Val Caniparoli. He has also collaborated with Eric Kupers, Lori B and Andrew Ramer. His own work has been shown at Dance Mission Theater, Chuck Ream’s Windswept Ranch and the Jon Sims Center. Nol teaches modern, ballet and creative movement to children and adults at Dance Mission, ODC, Dance Attack! and the San Francisco Dance Center. |

Choreographer, dancer, teacher, and administrator, Todd Eckert holds a BA in Dance from UC Berkeley, and has been ensconced in the modern dance community of San Francisco since 1999. Since 2003 he has presented his own choreography in many venues in San Francisco including Dance Mission Theater, ODC Theater, and the OtherDance Festival. Since 2007, he produces his annual home season "Shared Space" in collaboration with Nol Simonse. In 2010, he was commissioned to create a new work for Stanford University, and in 2011 he will premiere a full evening of new work in collaboration with the American Bach Soloists at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Todd joined Robert Moses’ Kin as a dancer in 2001, and continues to perform annually in San Francisco as well as on tour. Todd teaches dance to adults and teens at the ODC Dance Commons, and as a Lecturer in the Dance Department at UC Berkeley. As an administrator, Todd has been the development and operations manager of the Margaret Jenkins Dance Company since 2000. |
